Senior Living Resident Portal
SeniorScreens is a resident portal for senior living communities. It gives staff one simple place to post menus, activities, announcements, and daily updates. Residents can then check that information on tablets, computers, or their own devices, which helps them stay informed and more connected throughout the day. Because SeniorScreens runs through the internet, there are no in-house servers to buy or maintain. SeniorScreens does not use personal resident information. SeniorScreens is designed without personal resident information. As a result, there is no personal resident data in the system to track, sell, or share.
Because SeniorScreens works in a browser, there is no app to install. As a result, it stays simple for both staff and residents. It also helps communities share daily information in a clear, familiar way.
How a Real Senior Living Communication Problem Led to SeniorScreens
SeniorScreens was inspired by a real experience in a senior living community in Indiana.
A resident reached out because he was frustrated with how activity updates were shared. He didn’t want anything complicated. He just wanted to know if an activity was still happening before making the trip to the main building.
At the time, the only way to find out was to go there in person.
So he would check the schedule, leave his apartment, and walk or ride over—only to sometimes find out the activity had been canceled after he arrived. The update was posted inside, but there was no way to know beforehand.
That meant one thing: he had to turn around and go back.
We call that a Turnaround Trek.
SeniorScreens was created to prevent that. Now, residents can see updates from their mobile device from their apartment before they leave—so they stay informed and avoid unnecessary trips.

SeniorScreens grew out of decades spent in senior care — from handwritten whiteboards showing daily weather, meals, and activities to simple digital tools designed to keep residents informed and engaged.
